LP limited 500 copies on gold vinyl. "Subtle harmonies and avant-garde theatrics are setting the Scottish duo apart." - The Line of Best Fit // "BDY_PRTS (make) theatrical, slightly avant-garde electro-pop with simple yet effective harmonies." - D.I.Y "Sheer, effortless pop music." - Clash // BDY_PRTS are a band hailing from Glasgow comprising two songwriters - Chicago-raised Jill O'Sullivan (of cult band Sparrow And The Workshop) and Jenny Reeve (of Strike The Colours and Malcolm Middleton collaborator) - alongside drummer/producer Jonny Scott (The Kills, Chvrches and Marnie).
Describing themselves as "electro future-pop" on record their music is a melody-driven, 80s-tinged indie-electro-pop fusion.
Live BDY_PRTS sound is coupled with a unique and striking visual identity, aided by of the otherworldly and genre-defying costumes designed with visual artists Urara Tsuchiya and Lesley Anne Hepburn.
On stage Jill and Jenny's intertwining costumed limbs offer a visual feast whilst their vocals, melodies and full band set-up (with guitar and drums) one for the ear, creating a show full of sonic and theatrical flair.
BDY_PRTS have released three singles, most recently Rooftops (August 2017) which premiered on The Line of Best Fit, preceded by IDLU and Cold Shoulder (released in 2014/15 respectively)..
The album was written, recorded and produced by the BDY_PRTS, engineered by David McAulay and Jamie Savage, and mixed by Paul Savage.
